A Feast and A Fling was held at Inverness College UHI, with courses prepared by Marcello Tully, head chef director at Kinloch Lodge, Isle of Skye, Steven Devlin, owner of Rocpool Restaurant in Inverness, Michael Smith, chef patron of Loch Bay Restaurant, Isle of Skye and Helen Vass, acclaimed pastry chef and winner of BBC’s Bake Off Creme de la Creme.

The event was sponsored by Caley Timber and Building Supplies.

Vonnie Stevenson, community fundraiser for Marie Curie in the Highlands, said the charity was delighted to be chosen for the fundraiser.

“Everyone had a great night and we really can’t thank everyone who played a part in making it all happen. Our hugely generous local sponsor Caley Timber and Building Supplies means that every pound raised will go directly to the charity.

“Events like this make a direct impact on what the charity can provide so building relationships with local businesses and organisations is the key to making sure that we can continue to provide the nursing care to those that need and want it.”

A spokeswoman for Inverness College UHI said: “Guests enjoyed irresistible food prepared by the region’s top chefs, using the finest local ingredients, and not a single morsel went back to the kitchen. Fine food was topped off with a true Highland shindig and music from the region’s award-winning folk rock band Torridon.”
