Police say nobody was injured in this morning's accident at Drumossie Brae

THE A9 has been reopened following two accidents earlier this morning.

Police and fire crews both attended the scene of a mutli-vehicle crash at Drumossie Brae.

Four cars and a Citylink coach were involved in the accident which took place in foggy conditions.

Officers on the scene said there were no injuries.

A spokeswoman for Scottish Citylink said: "One of our vehicles was involved in a collision with a car on the A9 this morning. Reports suggest that nobody was injured as a result of the incident. Passengers were collected by another vehicle to continue their onward journeys.

"Safety is our absolute priority. We will assist the police with their inquiries into this incident as well as carrying out our own investigation."

The A9 was also closed in both directions near Carrbridge following a two-vehicle crash there. It has also now reopened.
