A96 reopens following two-vehicle crash in Forres

POLICE have confirmed that the A96 between Forres and Elgin has reopened.

The accident was reported to police at around 10.30am this morning.

The road was shut this morning following a two-vehicle crash near Waterford Road just off the A96 this morning.

However, the road was cleared at around 12.35pm after vehicle recovery was arranged.

Police also confirmed that there were no injuries but added that enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.
