A9 closed after crash near Carrbridge

THE A9 has been closed in both directions due to a serious road traffic collision.

A Fiat 500 collided with a Mitsubishi Outlander at around 2pm on Wednesday just south of the Carrbridge junction.

An air ambulance was called to the scene.

There are no details of any casualties at this stage.
