THE A82 has reopened to traffic after it closed this morning to allow the recovery of a lorry following an earlier crash.

The road was shut at Alltsigh, about six miles south of Drumnadrochit, at 10.50am while a recovery crew removed the lorry which had completely left the road at 8am. No-one was hurt in the crash.

Traffic Scotland put out an update at 1.35pm to say the road had since reopened but remained "partially blocked" while the recovery operation continued.

It said: "Police are directing traffic in the area which is looking slow."
