1 Share bike legend Martyn's story
At Eden Court on Friday, October 13, Martyn Ashton: Bike Party, stars the former World Champion Mountain Bike Trials Rider and legend of the Road Bike Party who comes to talk about his life with bikes. Though he experienced a life-changing back-break in 2013, Martyn talks about continuing to explore what’s possible. Suitable for a 14+ audience. The theatre warns of possible strong language and description of personal injury. The event starts at 8pm.

The weekend choices start on Friday, October 13 with a warm-up for Monsterfest (coming next month!) in the company of Silent Thieves and 80R at the Tooth & Claw, from 7.30pm with all funds from £5 tickets going to The James Support Group
In the Innes Bar on Saturday, October 15, you can catch two young bands The Demographic and Reliever from 7pm, free entry.
And same night, back in the Tooth & Claw, Thin Lizzy tribute The Boyz kick off with all the Lizzy hits. From 8pm.
And for a totally different vibe, Wednesday, October 17 in Eden Court's Provost Smith Memorial Chapel, from 7.30pm brings Cruinn Còmhla: Gaelic Acoustic Nights – this time with poet Seonaidh Charity and a Meantime reunion. The night is a collaboration between Eden Court and Inverness Acoustic Music Club – whose next in their regular monthly series at The Wee Bar is on November 1 at 7.30pm showcasing singer-songwriters Sean Gray and Lewis Stevenson.

From Friday, October 13, The Miracle Club (12A) follows the story of three generations of close friends. dreaming of a pilgrimage to Lourdes. It stars Laura Linney, Maggie Smith, Kathy Bates and Stephen Rea. Our regular reviewer says: "The Miracle Club is an endearingly old-fashioned portrait of community rallying in the face of adversity, threaded with earthy humour and more than a hint of blarney." The film is screening at Eden Court Cinema, various times. But for a lot of you, this is the big and only movie news if you haven't had a chance to book it ... Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour (12A). Being called a once-in-a-lifetime concert film experience.
4 Movies mark World Mental Health Day
On Sunday, October 15 at 3pm, A Different Gravitation (12) is a set of six short films that focus on skateboarding and mental health and includes a film edit of the summer engagement project at Inverness skatepark. After the films, there will be a Q &A. The event is part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. And UHI Inverness, Creativity in Care, Mikeysline and Highland Skate Parks Association have organised the event to mark World Mental Health Day.

On Wednesday, October 18 at Eden Court, some famous faces familiar from Scottish TV comedy will assemble at Eden Court for People Huv Tae Know as they celebrate the award-winning TV comedy Still Game they've all been part of ... Gavin Mitchell (Boabby), Paul Riley (Winston), Sanjeev Kohli (Navid), Jane McCarry (Isa) and Mark Cox (Thomas). This is for a 14+ audience and the theatre says "parental guidance is recommended". Starts 7.30pm.
