If you are aged between 12 and 18, you can join Eden Court's film engagement team from Monday, July 17 to Friday, July 21 from 10am to 4pm each day for Action Movie Summer Workshop. It's a new, intensive, week-long film making workshop focusing on the techniques needed to make your own movie action scenes. Running for five days, the workshop will teach you how to plan, film and edit either chase scenes, classic stand offs or fight scenes and are open to any young people with an interest in film-making and a love of action movies. No previous experience of film-making is needed. It costs £110 for the week. For some the cost might stop people being able to take part, so Eden Court can support a limited number of bursary places for the Summer Studio Programme – this event is part of that. To find out more, email: engagement@eden-court.co.uk and a member of the engagement team will get back in touch with you.
