33-year-old man has appeared in Inverness court on a charge of attempted murder after an alleged incident at a home on Rosehaugh Road in South Kessock

A 33-year-old man appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court today, charged with attempted murder.

David Wallace, from Inverness was accused of using a knife on a 36-year-old man at a house in Rosehaugh Road on September 27.

The property was sealed off by police and an appeal was issued for information.

Wallace made no plea, was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
