Three people were taken to Raigmore Hospital with "serious injuries" last night after a crash in Inverness.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following a serious one-vehicle crash in Inverness on the B9177 close to its junction with the B9006 Culloden Road.

The one-vehicle incident occurred at around 7.55pm on Wednesday and involved a blue Audi S3.

The driver, a 20-year-old man, and two male passengers were taken to Raigmore Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries.

Sergeant Neil Macdonald, of the Highlands Road Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the crash to get in touch.

“We are also asking anyone who saw this vehicle prior to the crash or anyone with dashcam footage or any other information which may assist to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 'incident 3287 of February 21'.
