Ten days of themed events are being planned to celebrate the 20th anniversary of La Tortilla Asesina.

The milestone for the Spanish restaurant will be reached on March 3 but it plans to mark the occasion with daily celebrations from February 24.

A spokesman for the Inverness venue said: “La Tortilla Asesina is Scotland’s oldest tapas bar and will be hosting a 10-day fiesta commencing on February 24 to celebrate the 20th birthday – 20 years of serving delicious high-quality food and drink from the same building that La Tortilla started from in 2003. The restaurant will be hosting 10 days of events, with each day having its own unique and exciting theme.

"The events will include deals on food and alcohol as well as entertainment from musicians and comedians. This is surely an event that no tapas fans would ever want to miss.”
