During the event, the authors will all be reading from their work, in a celebration of the finest literature produced in or about the Highlands in 2021.

Centre director, Rachel Humphries said: "Anyone is invited to join the event. The more the merrier – It's lovely to have people tuning in from all around the world, and sometimes behind one computer you can have four or five people!

"For us the richest online events is when we know that there is this bigh community of readers that want to support the readers. Even if it's online you can feel the energy, and it can feel like an intimate event.

"It always feel like a big celebration, it's always exciting and fun and over the years that I have attended I have been blown away by the quality of writing that gets to this point."

Musicians Ingrid and Megan Henderson will also perform at the event.
