MACKENZIE - Peacefully, on Sunday, 7th March, 2021, in the exceptional care of Ward 5C, Raigmore Hospital, with her family by her side, Jamesina (Shina) MacKenzie (nee Clark), aged 85 years, 51 Lochiel Road, Inverness. Former employee of Highland Bitumens/Colas. Beloved and darling wife of Alick MacKenzie, much loved mother of Alan, Gordon, Fiona and Charlie, a dear mother-in-law to Shona and Aileen. Loving granny of Iona, Paul, Clare, Blair, Gayle and Owen. Adorable 'Great Granny Birdie' to Xander and Loki. A wonderful sister, sister-in-law, auntie and a dear friend to many. A family service will be held on Monday, 15th March, at 12.15pm, in the funeral home of John Fraser & Son of Chapel Street, Inverness. Live stream available via www.johnfraserandson.com. Shina will depart from her home at approximately 11.50am, for those who wish to pay their last respects. Following the service, Shina's cortège will travel along the Culloden Moor to Croy road, passing Cantray Farm at approximately 1pm, en route to Croy Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
