MACDONALD - Passed away peacefully, at Strathburn Care Home, Gairloch, on 27th May, 2021, Christina Macdonald (nee Maclennan), aged 95 years, formerly of Fasgadh, Heights of Woodside, Inverness and 5 Crulivig, Isle of Lewis. A much loved and adored mother of John Murdo, Rena and Margaret Ann, a darling granny and great-granny, a dearly loved mother-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. Due to current Covid restrictions, a private funeral will take place on Friday, 4th June at 11am, in the funeral home of John Fraser & Son, Chapel Street, Inverness, followed by a service on Monday, 7th June at 11am, in Bernera Church of Scotland, Isle of Lewis; interment thereafter in Bosta Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Christina are invited for Strathburn House and Alzheimer Scotland (for dementia research).
