DOUGLAS - Unexpectedly, at Raigmore Hospital, on Wednesday, 29th June, 2022, William John Douglas (Billy), formerly of Ardersier and latterly Mackay Road, Inverness, aged 76 years. Ex welder at McDermotts and legendary Highland League footballer. Dearly loved dad of John, Debbie and Gayle, loving granda of Andrew, Sophie, Charlotte, Jessica and Kyle, a dear brother of Hughie, Lizzie, Christine, Richard and Andrew, a dear father-in-law of Julie, Chris and Julie, a loved uncle and friend to many. Funeral service on Wednesday, 20th July, 2022, at 12noon, in the funeral home of William T. Fraser and Son, Culduthel Road, Inverness; thereafter to Kilvean Cemetery.
