SUTHERLAND - (Inverness). Alan's family would like to express sincere appreciation to all who sent messages of sympathy, cards, flowers and such lovely and meaningful comments on social media. We also wish to thank all the healthcare staff who looked after Alan during his illness, in particular all staff at Southside Road Medical Centre, Christina from Marie Curie, The Ambulance (Patient Transfer) Service, Mary and Connie, Urban 1 nurses for their exceptional care and professionalism and John and his fantastic staff at Lochardil Pharmacy. A special mention to all work colleagues, school and college chums and all old friends who got in touch: your comments meant so much. Due to the Corona pandemic the funeral was restricted to a small number of family members only. The service by the Rev. Fiona Smith was inspirational and so very comforting and uplifting to all present. Special thanks to William T.
