MACDONALD - The family of the late Derek John Macdonald would like to express their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them following their recent loss. Heartfelt thanks go to the Macmillan Suite nurses, GP Dr Jude Watmough and the East District Community Nurses for their care and attention. Thanks to Laura Gillespie for her comforting ceremony, to D. Chisholm & Sons for their caring guidance with the funeral arrangements and to the Chieftain Hotel for their hospitality. Finally, thank you to all who attended the ceremony and donated towards Cancer Research UK, the sum of over £3,800 was collected in memory of Derek, including a very generous donation of £2,500 from Arnold Clark.
