LILLEY - Olive and family would like to thank all relatives and friends, both here and further afield, who have shown such kindness and support in the many visits, cards, flowers and messages following the loss of Phil. To all the nurses and staff in the NHS Departments at Nairn Hospital, the district nurses, especially Sarah, Megan and Trish, his GPs Dr McDougall and Dr Mitchell, MND Scotland and Andy Bethall, Joanna Matheson, Dr Finlayson and the NHS Highland research team at Raigmore and Penny from Marie Curie. The loving family of the late Janet 'Nettie' Byrne (Nettie Chaluim Alasdair a' Mhuilleir) would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to relatives and friends at home and abroad for their kind expressions of sympathy and support in our time of grief. James, Jane and David; Nettie's brothers, Alasdair, John, and Donald; and the extended family have been overwhelmed but comforted by the huge outpouring of love and appreciation for beautiful Nettie, finding particular solace in the many stories and memories of her inspirational kindness and caring, gentle nature. Nettie was a precious gift in her family's and many close buddies' lives, and they a treasured gift in hers, and she is sorely missed.
