A popular city centre restaurant is set to close its doors as it undergoes refurbishment.

Based on Ardross Terrace, Tiger on the Wall and the Strathness House Hotel will close on September 16 for a major makeover.

The owners of Tiger on the Wall provided a heartfelt thank you to all of their customers on social media.

They said: “We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your loyalty and support over the years.

“Thank you for the wonderful memories and for making Tiger On The Wall a part of your lives.”

However, rest assured as The Inverness Courier can confirm the restaurant will not shut for good and will be back in mid 2025.

A spokesperson for Strathness House Hotel added: “We look forward to welcoming you back to a totally transformed hotel and restaurant.”
