If you're planning an event, look no further than the Highland one-stop service for sound, lighting, power, stage hire and catering supplies, all from KBE Events Service.

Inverness-based KBE Events Service is inviting everyone to their new premises this Sunday, February 4, as a chance to catch some live music, good food from local businesses, and take a look around their latest equipment.

Kai Logan, owner of KBE Events Service said: "We're going to have some equipment demonstrations and some live performances from a couple of local musicians, as well as food and drink from a few small businesses. We're holding it just to let everyone know we're here, so that they can come in and have a look around all of our equipment and get to know more about what we do here."

The event is being held from 1–4pm, at the company's new premises at Unit 2 Highland House in Inverness, behind Lorimers Restaurant.

There's always been a passion there from us for music and events – we just love creating good times.

Explaining the many benefits of their new store, office and workshop, Kai said: "With our new premises, we can house all our equipment in one place, and we've even got a workshop so we're able to make all of our own cables which keeps costs down. The new premises also mean we can do a lot more testing and preparation for our jobs in advance.

"Anywhere that you need a sound and lighting system, we're there. It could be a family function, wedding, engagement party, even a festival or gala fun day. We do a lot of corporate dinners as too at Inverness hotels like the Drumossie or Kingsmills.

But it's not just sound and lighting that the Highland company provide – they've also turned their hand to catering equipment hire, which is proving to be a success.

"Highland Cater Hire supplies all the catering equipment you could need, which ties on to KBE so that we can provide the full package for our clients with tables, chairs, and crockery hire."

"KBE are one of the few firms in the north of Scotland that can truly offer one turnkey package – we offer everything that you could need for an event. If someone's looking for simplicity, professionalism and a friendly person to speak to, we're the guys you're looking for. Whether it's sound, lighting, stage, or if it's the catering, food and beverage – we can offer you that turnkey system."

The open day is not only promoting the wide range of services KBE can offer, but is also keen to raise funds for Highland Hospice, a charity close to the business' heart.

Kai explained: "Recently, a family member has been receiving support from Highland Hospice, and we thought it would be a nice gesture to give something back, and show how much we appreciate everything the hospice does.

"We've got a really exciting year ahead with lots of events, from both new and repeat customers. We are also heavily investing in new equipment all the time to keep up with trends. We're looking forward to seeing everyone at the open day!"
