Daisy the cat in Inverness looking for a forever home on International Cat Day
A cat with purr-sonality is looking for a home in the Highlands.
SPCA Highlands and Islands - based in Inshes in Inverness - is appealing for a home for Daisy who has been at their animal rescue and rehoming centre for 45 days.
Daisy is a very sweet young lady who came into the charity’s care when she could no longer be looked after.
Although this gorgeous girl can be very affectionate, she will let you know when she has had enough. Therefore, she would be best suited to an experienced home with no young children.
Daisy was previously mainly an indoor cat however, she may benefit from having access to a garden as she can be unsettled at times due to a build-up of excess energy.
This stunning lass is not a fan of other feline pals and will be looking for a home with no other pets.
The charity currently has 296 cats in their care waiting for new families to whisker them away.
And since January this year, the charity has taken in 1,164 cats across Scotland.
With an estimated 600 million cats worldwide, both owned and unowned, International Cat Day encourages a sense of community among cat lovers, veterinary professionals, and anyone who appreciates these unique animals.
Celebrated annually on August 8, this day unites cat lovers across the globe to join in celebrating our feline friends.
If you or someone you know can offer Daisy or any of the cats in the charity’s care a home then please apply via the Scottish SPCA website.
