Boyzone Show Fears Allayed

Scottish Boyzone fans can breathe a sigh of relief that the band’s Scottish shows will go on, despite recent rumours of a possible split.

Event and concert promoters CK Events have confirmed that Boyzone’s upcoming Scottish concerts at Inverness and Hopetoun House near Edinburgh will go ahead this August, quashing the claims that the band has been advised to split by former manager Louis Walsh.

The band which has sold over 15 million records worldwide will play at the Northern Meeting Park, Inverness on Saturday 27 August.

“All is good in the Boyzone camp and we’re really looking forward to the summer shows in Scotland," Ronan Keating assured fans.

"Our Scottish fans always give us a great reception and we’re preparing for a good show. We’ll perform some of our classic hits as well as great tracks from the album. You really don’t want to miss out so come and join us.”

Les Kidger, director of Inverness-based promoter CK Events said he was delighted to be able to put a stop to any rumours.

“Fans will be equally delighted to know that the Scottish concerts, scheduled for this summer, are well and truly on," he added. “Boyzone are great performers and will put on a fantastic show for fans as part of their exclusive outdoor concert dates at Hopetoun House and at Northern Meeting Park in August. These concerts are not to be missed.”
