World-class talent to play at Inverness club





Four of the top squash players in the world will be heading to Inverness to take part in two exhibition matches.

Scotland internationalists Greg Lobban and Lisa Aitken along with England’s Daryl Selby and South African Alex Fuller will play at the Inverness Tennis and Squash Club Championship Finals Day.

The exhibition matches will take place on Saturday, March 23 in addition to the club championships.

North Kessock athlete Lobban, who is ranked 31st in the world will face world number 19 Selby.

Aitken who is 54th in the world will face Fuller who is 11 places higher in the Professional Squash Association rankings.

Club manager Ailsa Polworth says it was a major coup to bring four world class squash players to their biggest event of the year.
