Highland Wildcats Under-17s’ Britbowl fate will come down to a deciding match against East Kilbride Pirates next month after results at their tournament last weekend.

The trip to Hamilton reaped big rewards early on as the Wildcats dominated the hosting side’s Buccaneers.

The quality of the Wildcats’ rushing and their pass completion were their two key advantages in the match.

They averaged 10.8 yards more than the Buccaneers for every rush and a better pass completion by 32 per cent meant that they made up over twice the yards of Hamilton through passes.
