Inverness Caley Thistle to kick off League One promotion bid away at Kelty Hearts after fixtures released for the 2025/26 season
Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s league fixtures for the 2025/26 season have been confirmed.
The Caley Jags will be looking to challenge at the top of League One this season, despite starting behind the rest of the division on -5 points following last October’s administration.
A strong start, then, may be crucial to their promotion hopes, and they kick off the season against Kelty Hearts in Fife on Saturday, August 2.
Their first home game will then take place the following week against newly-promoted Peterhead.
The festive schedules pit Inverness away at Montrose on Saturday, December 27, before kicking off the new year back in the Highland capital against Peterhead.
To end the regular season, Caley Thistle will then face Hamilton Academical in Inverness on Saturday, May 2.
In the same division last year, ICT began the campaign with a 1-1 draw against Dumbarton at the Caledonian Stadium.
Recent years have not seen the opening weekends be particularly kind to Inverness though, with two draws, two defeats and only a single win to their name in the last five years – a record Scott Kellacher will be desperate to change this time around.
