Which golfers are in the semi finals of the Inverness Four Day Open?

The semi finals and final of the Inverness Four Day Open are due to take place today.

The top four seeds all fell at the quarter final stage with Jordan Shaw losing to Connor Hall and Paul Savage losing to Ross Naismith.

Andrew Hutchison beat Jamie Whittet and Lewis Reid progressed with a win over two time champion John Forbes.

Hall and Naismith get the semi finals underway at 8am with Reid v Hutchison started at 8.08am.

In section One, James Greenwood's quest to defend the Johnstone Trophy was ended at the quarter final stage by Calum Findlay of Forres who will play Dougie Gordon in the first of Thursday's semi finals.

In the bottom half of the draw David Walker beat Andy Philip and will play Kian Ross following his playoff win over Andrew Crichton.

In Section Two, The top two matches both went down to the 18th green with John Morrison holing a 12 foot putt to beat Ruairi Benson and Colin Harper prevailing over Graham Nicolson.

Alan Kerr beat Christopher Day 3/1 and will play Seth Anderson who beat Andrew Findlater 2/1.

In Section Three, Alan Innes beat Gordon Mackenzie 4/3 and will play Alan Savage in the first semi final. In a close match Gokay Deveci won on the 18th against John Howie and will play Willie Chisholm following his 4/3 win over Graeme Mckimmie.

The consolation stableford competition determined the four semi finalists to contest the Stewart Coghill Trophy. Ewan Selkirk plays John Rodgers and David Oddy will play John M Forbes.
