Clach deserve bottom three finish – Macleod

Manager Brian Macleod says Clachnacuddin deserve to finish third bottom of the Highland League, but believes his team are capable of better.

The Lilywhites go into their final game of the season against champions Cove Rangers tomorrow after being thrashed by Formartine United 4-0 on Wednesday night.

Clachnacuddin will finish 16th in the table in one of the club's poorest seasons in the Highland League.

Macleod said the table never lies but believes with the players they have in the squad they are capable of improvement next season.

"You finish where you deserve to finish," he said.

"We have had some good results and disappointing ones too.

"But we are better than that. It is fine saying it but we have to prove it."
