Lewis Urquhart will attempt to make history at Highland Boxing Academy by becoming only the club’s second fighter to win four major titles.

The Dingwall boxer, who represents the Inverness club, will be in confident mood going into the Northern District Championships in Aberdeen having completed a hat-trick of national titles two weeks ago.

He won the Scottish Intermediate Bantamweight 56kg Championship at Ravenscraig adding to his novice and open titles.

He aims on Saturday to win his fourth title, an achievement only done once at HBA, but his coach Liam Foy says he has all the quality required to come home with another accolade.

“He has been training hard at the gym,” he said.
