Robertson lauds Caley Thistle's unsung heroes
Manager John Robertson says the positive contribution certain players made at Inverness Caledonian Thistle deserve more recognition.
Caley Thistle finished third in the Championship reaching the Premiership play-off semi final and achieving the best away record of any team in the league.
They also reached the semi final of the Scottish Cup after a terrific run came to an end with a 3-0 defeat against Heart of Midlothian.
Robertson paid tribute to his goalkeeper Mark Ridgers, who signed a contract extension with the club until 2022 last month.
He said goalkeepers rarely get the recognition they deserve, but the team and supporters value how important he is to the side.
“We had really consistent performers last year like Mark Ridgers in goal,” he said.
