The target golf league at Fairways reached it's conclusion this week.

The first target golf league season at Fairways for years came to a conclusion on Monday night, with Ukie Fan Club being crowned champions.

The Muir of Ord outfit saw off the challenge of Spanish Hands and Pinseekers, who came joint second.

A wooden spoon tournament was also played amongst the teams who did not qualify for the final.

There it was M Tech who were victorious, followed by Son of Pitches, who snatched second by just a single point from Team Fairways.

Organiser Stevie Graham says that it was an entertaining final to a tournament that had gone off without a hitch.

“The guys did really well, it was really close, a fantastic final,” he said.
