Squash - Top players from across the country head to Inverness to play at Scottish Squash Championships





Inverness is set for three days of top-class squash as Scotland’s best players compete for national title at the DYNAMIK Scottish Senior National Championships.

There will be significant home interest as Scotland’s number one - world number 19 - Greg Lobban returns to the club where he first picked up a squash racket.

He’ll be joined by third seed, former Culloden Academy pupil Alasdair Prott, and Thurso born ex-professional Jamie Henderson hoping to roll back the years with a strong performance.

In the women’s draw, Scotland’s top female player Georgia Adderley has scaled new heights in the world rankings, reaching a career high of 22 in recent weeks, and will aim to defend her national title to crown an impressive season.

A total of 24 players will compete across the men’s and women’s draws, with a £3800 prize fund, boosted by sponsor DYNAMIK Sports Floors up for grabs across the men’s and women’sdraws.

The competition gets underway on Friday at 3pm, with matches scheduled on Saturday and the finals taking centre stage from 2pm on Sunday.

Entry is free, with spectators welcome to head along to Inverness Tennis and Squash Club to watch the top-class sporting action.

Inverness Tennis and Squash Club previously hosted the Scottish Squash Open in 2021 and 2023.
