Beaton and Thorburn win again at Speyside Rally

Paul Beaton and Euan Thorburn remain on course for their Scottish Rally Championship title after victory in Speyside Stages.

The Inverness co-driver along with his Duns teammate at the wheel of the Ford Focus WRC05, earned a winning margin of 41 seconds over Jock Armstrong and Cameron Fair.

Undefeated during in 2019 in all competitions, Beaton and Thorburn are at the top of the standings on 60 points, six points ahead of Freddie Milne and Steven Brown.

Also leading the standings of the British Trial and Rally Driving Association after winning all three races, Beaton says the duo are driving themselves forward winning major success in 2019.

"It is unbelievable," he said,

"The best five scores count, we just have to do it another three times and we are champions."
