Bonus point is number one target for Highland head coach Carson against Kelso
Highland head coach Dave Carson says he would be content with a tight victory against Kelso as long as they scored at least four tries to pick up a bonus point.
The Greens welcome the Borders outfit to Canal Park tomorrow in their final game of 2019 before the festive break.
Highland picked up a bonus point victory at Kelso earlier this season as they edged a 27–26 win.
Kelso have struggled this season as they lie in 10th place in National One.
But they have been competitive in most matches with the exception of a 98–3 trouncing by Cartha Queens in September.
But Kelso only lost by one point against Cartha last week and Carson would accept a similar margin, as long as they picked up full points.
“Kelso have picked up a few results recently,” he said.
