Inverness Caledonian Thistle have confirmed three people at the club are self-isolating after coming into close contact with a Covid-19 case.

While keeping the individuals anonymous, chief executive Scot Gardiner did confirm that the three people includes two coaches and a senior member of staff.

No players are affected meaning matches can be played as scheduled, and Caley Thistle have kept the Scottish FA, the Scottish Professional Football League and the Joint-Response Group updated on the situation.

The situation does mean that head of youth development Charlie Christie has been assisting manager John Robertson in training this week, and Christie will also be present in the dug out for Saturday's Scottish Cup match away at Buckie Thistle.

"We can confirm that three of our members of staff are self-isolating due to being close contacts," Gardiner revealed.

"We're not going to go into the details, but it's two coaches and one senior member of staff who are out of the equation for us at the moment.

"That will mean Charlie Christie will be in the dug out with John on Saturday, and he has been involved in taking training this week with John.

"We've informed the SFA, the SPFL and the JRG of the situation as it stands. All the investigations have already been done in regards to who could have possibly been affected.

"There are no players that it relates to, and the only people involved in the situation are the three that are self-isolating, so there is no requirement or pressure on us to test the players ahead of Saturday's match."
