The newly-created Inverness City Open will take place from Sunday, August 4 to Saturday, August 10.

The tournament will embrace modified rules to generate a speedy and exciting turnaround of matches.

Most age groups will be catered for in the grade four, County-level competition – from girls and boys’ singles and doubles, from under eights to under 16s, men’s and women’s singles and doubles, and mixed doubles.

There are also veteran (over 40s) contests for men and women, all staged at Inverness Tennis and Squash Club.
