John Robertson is urging his players to take their chances and prove why they deserve to play for Inverness Caledonian Thistle when they return to action against Alloa Athletic in the Scottish Championship on Saturday.

It will be the first game since they were knocked out of the Irn-Bru Cup first round against Dunfermline Athletic nine days previously in a 2-1 defeat at the Caledonian Stadium.

Overall Robertson is pleased with how the season has gone as they remain undefeated in the league and won three of their four games in the Betfred Cup despite going out of the competition.
