Striker departs from Ross County and decides to return to Ireland

Ross County have confirmed striker Michael O’Connor has handed in his resignation and returned to Ireland.

The 22-year-old joined the Staggies from Waterford in September but failed to make an impact at the Global Energy Stadium.

Ross County released a statement confirming O'Connor's departure, but would not make any further comment.
