Strathpeffer cyclist Fin Graham wins silver medal at UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships in Canada

Fin Graham won a silver medal at the 2022 UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships in Canada.

The Strathpeffer cyclist was edged out of becoming MC3 Category world champion by Spain’s Eduardo Santas Asensio by just eight-hundredths of a second with 26:25.71.

France’s Florian Bouziani took the bronze at the world championships at in Baie-Comeau.

Graham will look to go for gold when he competes in the Road Race on Sunday.

On Twitter, Graham said: "0.08 seconds off becoming world champion.

"Still really happy to be winning the silver medal.

"Time to rest up ahead of the Road Race on Sunday."

Graham (22) won two silver medals at the men’s cycling C1-C3 road race and the C3 3000m individual pursuit at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo last year.
