Head coach John Mann says Ross Sutherland let the last month catch up to them in their 38-31 defeat to Garioch.

It was the Stags’ first match after winning the National Bowl at Murrayfield, and their cause was not helped by the absence of some key players who were away on a stag do.

Even though the scoreline ended up being close, that was because of a second half rally that got them back in the mix. And Mann says their poor start is what would eventually cost them the result.
