Ronnie Sharp has warned his Nairn County players that hard work has to come first against Keith tomorrow.

Nairn are in decent form, having won their last two matches against Inverurie Locos and Strathspey Thistle, but have been prone to dropping points against teams below them in the Highland League table.

That was the case when Wee County travelled to Keith, where the match finished 1–1.

So Sharp says that his players need to put a shift in and not presume they will pick up three points.

“We struggled to cope with their workrate down there, so we have to do that this time,” he said.

“They’re probably one of the very few teams that has outworked us in a game this season.

“The effort has to be there, but I’m not expecting an easy game against Keith. The good thing is our home form is good, so hopefully we can continue that.

“They’ve got one of the best strikers in the league in Cammy Keith. We have to be wary of him, any half-chances he is liable to take.”
