The return of several players means that Karen Mason has gone from struggling to put out a team, to a selection headache ahead of Caley Thistle's visit from East Fife this weekend.
Last time out against Raith Rovers, Mason only had 11 players available, but still picked up an 8-2 win.
For this Sunday’s match at Millburn Academy however, Janette Janatuinen and Katie Clelland should return from injury while Leanne Calder and Nicola Ross are back from Calder’s hen party.
That means Mason has some decisions to make, as she has to weigh up whether to change a winning team to accommodate her returning regulars.
“In terms of picking a starting 11 it’s not going to be easy, because players coming back have had their positions filled since they’ve been out,” she said.
“It will be down to whatever happens at training this week to see who’s going to be starting on Sunday.
“Generally it’s those that play on a Sunday that my eyes are open to, so it will be based on performances over the last two weeks as well.”
Caley Thistle won 6-1 in the reverse fixture in May, a match that Mason remembers fondly for her side’s performance.
“The last time we played them down there was probably our last good 90 minute performance to be honest,” Mason admitted.
“They are generally a tough, resilient team, so it should be a different ball game this weekend.”
