Ross is buzzing for new Highland role

Highland Rugby Club inside centre Seumas Ross received a double boost at the end of the season, picking up an award as well as some extra responsibility.

The number 12 was named Highland’s first-XV player of the year at their end-of-season awards last Friday.

But on top of that, Ross revealed he has been asked to take over the vice-captaincy for next season, when the Greens will be playing National One rugby.

It is a show of faith in the 21-year-old, and it is a challenge that he is looking forward to.
