Inverness Caledonian Thistle are a better team than at the same stage last year, says manager John Robertson
Inverness Caledonian Thistle are an improved team from last season according to manager John Robertson as they look to consolidate second place against Dunfermline Athletic tomorrow.
This time last season, Inverness were mid-table before a second half surge eventually saw them secure third place and reach the Premiership play-off semi final.
Now in second, one point ahead of Ayr United and already equalling last season’s record of five home wins, Robertson says results show Caley Thistle have a stronger squad compared to 12 months ago.
“This time last season we were around fifth, sixth place,” he said.
“The fact that we are in second place shows there has been an improvement.
“But we need to keep improving and need to keep winning games.
“We want to improve our home record and there is no doubt it will be improved this season.”
