Highland 2nd XV's undefeated record in Caledonia Two North came to a crashing halt as they were thrashed in Stonehaven.

The Raptors also missed out on a bonus point only scoring three tries with Mackie running in six tries in their 25 point victory.

Highland 2nd XV had not lost a league game since January 2018 and last season won all 16 games to lift the Caledonia Two North championship.

But they were not eligible for promotion to Caledonia One due to being a second team.

The Seconds still remain top of the league but their lead has been cut to two points as North Police picked up a bonus point after suffering a shock 45-26 defeat at Banff.
