Head coach Laurie Redfern says each athlete has proven themselves at national level and now wants to see what they can do in international competition.

“I have decided to take these three boys as they are the most experienced at the club fighting in international competition.

“The tournament will have some of the top boxers from France, Italy and Spain competing. It is quite an established tournament.

“There are a number of clubs in Scotland taking part and I have asked about what we can expect.”

Two of the fighters have already experienced success on the continent when they competed at the Limassol Box Cup in Cyprus in October.
