Players from Beauly and Lovat selected to take part in Scotland trials

PLAYERS from Beauly and Lovat have been called up for trials for the Scotland squad for the annual shinty/hurling match with Ireland.

Beauly players Euan MacCormick and Angus Renwick along with Danny Kelly, Craig Mainland, Greg Matheson and Stuart Macdonald from Lovat have been invited to the trial at The Eilan at Newtonmore.

The match will take place at the end of October in Ireland, with the following two Internationals to happen on Scottish soil. Caberfeidh manager Garry Reid has again been selected as Scotland boss.

From the below 32, 20 will be selected to represent their nation.
