Cabot Highlands hosted a vibrant afternoon of junior golf at Castle Stuart Golf Links in partnership with Scottish Golf as part of their Junior Golf Skills Challenge. The event, held at the golf park and iconic practice putting green, brought together budding golfers from six primary schools: Ardersier, Balloch, Cradlehall, Croy, Duncan Forbes, and Smithton.

Stefanie Whyte of Cabot Highlands said: “We were delighted to welcome local primary school children to Golf Park this week where everyone had a lot of fun. Importantly, the event highlighted that Cabot Highlands is not just a world-class golfing venue, but also a welcoming one, with reduced green fees available to residents in the Highlands. Through events like these, Cabot Highlands continues to make golf more accessible and inclusive for future generations.”

Active Schools Coordinator David Shaw added: “Active schools is all about getting more children more active more often and giving them opportunities to try new sports and activities, so being able to bring a group of local children to a special venue like this – which is right on their doorstep – is fantastic.

“We hope to be able to work with Cabot Highlands in the future to deliver more accessible events like this.”
