Highland Canoe Polo Club travel to compete in Belgian Open

Highland Canoe Polo Club made a big splash in Europe when they competed against international teams at the Belgian Open.

The Inverness club took on teams from across Europe which was a warm up event to the European Championships in Portugal this weekend.

Highland took part in the tournament against national teams as well as some of the top clubs in Europe.

With the European Championship starting in two weeks, the international competition attracted most of the national squads from across Europe, who brought their Mens, Ladies and Under-21 squads.

The weekend didn’t start well for Highland after free practice saw them lose a player due to a dislocated shoulder.
