Ross Sutherland rugby club have tried out a novel way of preparing for the upcoming season – by taking part in a judo session.

The Stags’ senior and under-18 squads made the short journey across the road to Invergordon Leisure Centre for the first time to receive the combat sport training.

Head coach John Mann says that it was a way of mixing up the usual grind at this time of the year, and the whole squad really enjoyed it.
