Jamie Lindsay insists Ross County will prepare to face Motherwell’s colts with the same meticulous detail they afford their Championship rivals.

The former Celtic midfielder and his team-mates, for the second time this season, will embrace the unusual challenge of taking on a Premiership young team in the Irn-Bru Challenge Cup quarter final.

Having already beaten Hearts under-21s at Tynecastle early in the competition, the quarter final test at Fir Park is no complete novelty.

Lindsay, though, insists there is no room for complacency from County’s more seasoned campaigners – and no danger of poor preparation.
