This has left the SHFL with 17 clubs as talks are set to held at the league’s AGM on Monday.

It has been reported the league will consider four proposals.

They include inviting Inverness Caledonian Thistle to enter a colts team which the club are keen on or North Superleague champions Banks O’ Dee to enter the league.

Other proposals include staying at 17 teams for next season or inviting applications for new clubs to join the Highland League for the 2020/21 season.
